alrighty.. so i am back again. this time i have a bunch of news.. hehe! so here is a quick recap...

in may i moved to whistler, bc. love it! a beautiful place, and everyone there is amazing! i miss them alot! and i miss the mountains!!!!! but i came back to ontario at the end of august. i was living with my dad and my step mom, and on november 1st i got the keys to my apartment in woodstock. i am almost all unpacked.

my apartment, which i will be putting pictures up a bit later, is really nice. it is a one bedroom, right downtown woodstock, but my apartment is in the back of a building, so i get the convenience of living downtown, minus alot of the noise. and this is my first apartment ALL TO MYSELF! i love it! i feel like my old self again. i have to finish unpacking my yarn and such, but then i will be knitting and crocheting again.  and i have to go out this week and buy some baking stuff and then i will be baking again. AMANDA IS BACK!!! and i am not going anywhere for a while now. i have calculated it, i have moved 9 times since june 2006. so i think that it is time to settle down and stop moving. pretty excited about not going to have to pack up things for a while.

i am working full time in woodstock. at a place called DBG. i make fuel tanks for international trucks. it is a factory, but i do enjoy it. the people that i work with are alot of fun, and the work isn't really difficult. it is repetitious, but not really straining. and because it is a factory job, the money is decent. so i can't complain on that front. and i am on straight days, so it really is quite nice.

but that is pretty much all that is new. i have a kitten, his name is sushi. he is soo cute. but he is still at my dad and trish's house, i won't be getting him for another week or so. i want to get everything unpacked and set up before i bring him up. so hopefully i can.

my friend cindi came up yesterday to see my apartment. she brought beer and pizza. so i had a really good visit with her. and now that she knows where i live, she can come and visit whenever she wants. she only lives an hour away, so i will make her come and see me often.. hehehe!!!

but anyways, i want to finish unpacking some things. i have the living room all unpacked, and i have the bathroom done. and the kitchen is unpacked (though i have to finish washing my pots and pans and the baking stuff, and then i have to re-organize the cupboards) and then my bedroom is still in boxes. so that is next on the agenda.

so i am going to go, but i will be back, hopefully much more often.

 

 

check out this... i want to make something for my little sister for easter... mainly because i have yet to make her something for her birthday... oops! but tell me what you think...

alrighty... i know that you are all not impressed that i haven't updated this thing in a while. i am sorry. but lots of things have changed. so, here we go...

ok, so i have moved to millbrook. i live with someone who my step mom grew up with. his name is mark. he has two large, very stupid and smelly dogs. the dogs i have discovered don't like cats, seeing as they killed lily. yes, lily has died. i tried to save her, and she bit me by accident. that was on tuesday. my friend alyson and i got lily away from the dogs, but she died while i was next to her, petting her. the bite on my hand got infected, i had to go to the hospital, and i spent two days going into cobourg hospital for iv antibiotics to fight the blood infection. oh the joys. i am good now, but i am still on antibiotics and i still have some pain killers. PLUS! the health unit had to come and pick up lily's body because they have to test her for rabbies. apparently the rabbies shot is not 100% foolproof, and an animal can still contract the desease even if they are up to date on their shots. So they are testing lily's body. and if they find the virus, then i have to go in for shots. so the fun just never ends. needless to say this past week has been hard. plus on thursday the doctor scared the crap out of me by telling me that i might need surgery if the infection got any worse. so i started freaking out, because this is the worse time of the school year to be sick, because exams are coming up and everything is due in every class. so i was talking with my step mom, trish, and she was talking with mark, and she decided that because i couldn't even do up my own bra or have a shower, that she would come up and help me this weekend. so that was really nice. and the bonus, she got my computer working on the wireless, and she hooked up a printer to my computer... and they brought up my desk and chair. so YEAH! my room is actually starting to look like a room. FINALLY!

Ruby is doing well. she is sleeping on my bed behind me as we speak. she likes living here, and she gets along with the dogs really well.

so it is that time of the year, that i start project spectrum again, so here is the list of the months and the colours...

february/march........ blue, white, grey

april/may........ green, yellow, pink

june/july....... red, black, metallics

august/september........ brown, orange, purple

so i know that i am almost 2 months late, but oh well... i will just have to get started now. i have no clue what i am going to make though. oh well... it is a surprise to me as well as to you. but i will be taking pictures again. and like i said make sure that you check out the new photo album.

ok... so i had a rough night last night... i ended up throwing up everywhere at the club. i christened the bar. they said that no one had thrown up on the bar before. well, memories right? everything was good until i started mixing things... lol... that didn't turn out too good...

so news here... (cause i know that it has been a while since i updated this... sorry)

i am single again. and you know what? it is great! i don't have to worry about working on a relationship, which is great! with jeff i always had to work on a relationship, and i think that with josh and brian i was overly worried about working on them... so at least i don't have to worry... i mean brian is a great guy! i have no problems with him, he just isn't for me... he was like josh in that respect. absolutely wonderful, just really not for me.

other than that... ohh i got a new digital camera for my birthday... so that is awesome... i also got a 20.00 gift card for iTunes and some really big, squishy towels, and i got taken out drinking, which we all know how that one turned out... lol... so in other words, my birthday was a fun one... lol.. i have a couple of new pictures, i will post them up after this...

Ruby is getting soo big... *sob* my little baby is almost a year old... lily is mad at me, cause i am never home so i am never there to give her any attention...

i am going to join some groups that are helping in malawi (the place in africa that i went to when i was 18)so that will be exciting. i want to go there this summer and see if i can work somewhere over there. though i would want to take ruby with me, and i dont know how that would work out though. i don't know if i could stand being away from ruby for that long... after all she is my daughter. i am in woodstock right now, and she is here with me... lol... she comes with me almost everywhere. but she is soo cute, and loveable, and sweet, and well, she is ruby, everyone loves her.

anyways, i am going to go. i have to install microsoft office on my laptop before i leave today. wow! i can't believe that i am 21. that is soo old... lol...

Merry Christmas EVERYONE! I hope that everyone has been having a great morning! and that every one is enjoying this festive time of the year... guess what?!?!?! Ruby got a hot dog bun for christmas... it is cute... but it broke already when she was wearing it... so i have to sew it back together, but then she can wear it for fun... she is soo good when i am putting it on her... she just sits there

i got an ipod!!! YEAH!!! lol... so i will be able to get more than just 26 songs on it... YEAH!!! lol...

anyways, i am going to let everyone go... i will talk to you all later though... again merry christmas... enjoy the christmas with no snow! lol

arrgghh!!! i hate this time of year... well at least right now i don't like it... i have to finish two essays, write up whole bunch of journals, and then i have three exams.. i will be really happy once the 18th has come and gone cause then i will officially be on my christmas break. this is my last day of classes until 2007. i can't believe how quickly this year has gone by.

soo much has happened to me this year... well within the last 6 months... my life took a turn that i didn't expect it too... and right now, i am still trying to figure out my next move... ohh the joys... lol... i am sure that it will come to me soon... that is one of my new years resolutions... to become organized... more organized with every aspect of my life... i am tired of waking up and reeling completely tired because i have no clue what i am doing next... i would also really like to get my own apartment in the new year. that would be awesome. i could maybe swing it, but i just have to wait and see. organization is the key, and i need to find it because i have misplaced it...

so lets see what else is new??? the snow in cobourg has melted... well it is almost all gone. just little bits here and there. but in peterborough, it must have snowed last night, because there is fresh snow everywhere. and it is cold enough that there is black ice everywhere as well. grrr... i am at trent right now... i am sitting in a cafeteria waiting to go and help my prof out with his lectures. i help him out every thursday... it gives me something to do... and it is also really nice because i get to look at some of the pictures before they are lectured on, so i feel a tad bit smarter in class... yeah me.

so brian is a brat!!! he hasn't been to classes for about a week now, and so yesterday i made him promise me that he would go to classes today. he has classes from 9am to 3pm. well i called at around noon to make sure that he had actually gone, and the brat was still at home... grr... so i yelled at him, and tonight i will go into work and yell at him some more... lol... it should be interesting. i almost want to call his house again just to make sure that he actually went. i mean i have been going to my clases, i am just as tired as he is, and i have an hour commute ahead of me each day. his classes are at the flemming in cobourg. he has a 5 minute drive... grrr....

anyways, i don't think that there is really anything else much new... i am sick.. yeah... i am always sick, i don't know why i am writting that one. oh well...

anyhow, i better get going... i hope that all is well with everyone (because soo many people read this e-mail,   HA!), and i will talk to you all later...

Alright, the meteorologists said that we were supposed to just get flurries last night, but for all of those who live in cobourg, i feel that we should run the mad man out of the town on a rail. FLURRIES?!?!?! we got 6 inches of snow last night! driving home from the christmas party (the swiss chalet christmas party, and NO JEFF, WE DIDN'T HAVE CHICKEN!... lol) was horrible, the men who drive the snow ploughs need to be fired... because they were no where to be found... lol... alot of the roads that i had to drive on weren't even driven on once yet... grrr!!! so then driving up to peterborough this morning was a load of fun, let me tell you. poor aleisha, who i carpool with on tuesdays, was freaking out because we were slidding a bit.. lol...

the christmas party last night was really fun. it was quite nice (v-dawg, that was for you)! the music was good. but i am a little not impressed because brian was supposed to come after he was done work, and he didn't show because of the weather. while i understand that, i was really looking forward to him being there, because i wanted to dance with him. i wanted to spend more time with him yesterday. i only spent an hour at his place before he went to work , and before i picked up his sister from work.

ohh i almost forgot... sorry... brian and i are dating. he is amazing! he is soo nice, he argues with me, he stands up to me. and he is really sweet. i can call him any time of night and rant to him about ANYTHING! he is 25 and wants to be a pilot... mile high club here i come! lol! the really funny thing is that his younger brother, adam, helped up build our house. i think that that is funny, because i never even met brian before. lol

anyways, i have to go to class, but i just wanted to give everyone an update... so
